Buffalo Grove Symphonic Band to hold 'Freedom' concert Nov. 11

The Buffalo Grove Symphonic Band will present its 22nd annual fall concert at 7 p.m. on Saturday, Nov. 11, at Vernon Hills High School, 145 Lakeview Parkway.

Called "Freedom," it will honor military veterans and trailblazers of Black music history.

William Grant Still's entire "Symphony No. 1 (Afro-American)" and Addinsell's "Warsaw Concerto," performed by piano soloist Keith Miller, will be among the program's highlights.

Advance tickets can be purchased online at tickets.bgsb.org, at Buffalo Grove Village Hall or from any band member.
