Stevenson team wins Illinois Science Olympiad

Stevenson High School has won the Illinois Science Olympiad Division C state championship.

The team won the prize Saturday at the University of Illinois at Urbana-Champaign. It's the Lincolnshire school's fourth state title in the last seven years. Stevenson also won state titles in 2013, 2015 and 2016.

Stevenson next will complete at the Science Olympiad National Tournament, which runs May 30 through June 2, at Cornell University in Ithaca, New York.
