Gurnee library to host program on navigating misinformation in the news

Warren-Newport Public Library is hosting a virtual program aimed at helping people gain tools for managing misinformation and bias in the news media and on social media.

Librarians will share information about pitfalls in popular news and provide resources to help those in attendance manage their news consumption. "Navigating the News" will be hosted on Zoom from 7 p.m. to 8:45 p.m. on Tuesday. To register for the free event, visit calendar.wnpl.info/event/6648544.
