Hanover Township offering free tax preparation

Hanover Township and volunteers from AARP are offering free tax preparation through April 9 at the Township Senior Center, 240 S. IL Route 59 in Bartlett.

Appointments are required and are scheduled on a first-come, first-serve basis.

Participants are asked to pick up the necessary documentation prior to their appointment, or arrive 15 minutes early to complete the necessary paperwork.

Last year, 480 individuals participated in this program.

All returns will be filed electronically and printouts will be given to each participant for their records. Benefit Access application assistance also will be available during these times.
