Wadsworth man identified as driver killed in rollover near Lake Bluff

The man who died in a rollover crash Saturday morning involving a pickup truck and semitrailer truck near Lake Bluff was identified Monday as Philip Jerina, a 36-year-old from Wadsworth.

The crash was reported at 9:25 a.m. on Waukegan Road just south of Muir Avenue in the unincorporated Knollwood area between Lake Bluff and Green Oaks in Lake County.

Jerina was pronounced dead at the scene. An autopsy determined he died from injuries suffered in the crash, the Lake County coroner's office reported.

The crash remains under investigation.
