CJ Logistics to participate in CJ Cup golf tournament
DES PLAINES - CJ Logistics said five professional South Korean golfers under its sponsorship, including four players with Top 100 world rankings, have committed to play at the CJ Cup PGA golf tournament in South Carolina Oct. 20-23.
Joo-Hyung Kim (No. 15 world ranking), Sung-Jae Im (No. 20 world ranking), Kyoung-Hoon Lee (No. 42 world ranking) and Si-Woo Kim (No. 73 world ranking) will play. CJ Logistics is the CJ Cup tournament's primary sponsor.
CJ Logistics, headquartered in Seoul, South Korea, is the parent company of CJ Logistics America, based in Des Plaines. CJ Logistics operates technology-driven logistics businesses at 280 locations in 40 countries.
In the U.S., CJ Logistics America supports the CJ Corp.'s sports marketing initiative. "We will continue to strengthen our sales activities to expand our U.S. logistics business through various marketing activities linked to golf," said Kevin Coleman, CJ Logistics America's CEO.
