Hainesville celebrates 175th anniversary Saturday
Hainesville will celebrate its 175th anniversary with a festival from 4 to 9 p.m. Saturday, at Union Square Park, 100 N. Haines Road.
The event will feature live music, beverages, a bounce house, face painting, a magician, rope-making and other activities for kids.
Food trucks from Rots Hots, 15 Lakes Butcher Bistro, With a Cherry on Top and Crazee Ice will be there. Attendees are encouraged to bring their own chairs and blankets.
Located near routes 120 and 134 and founded in 1847, Hainesville is the oldest village in Lake County.
