Grain mixed, livestock mostly lower
CHICAGO (AP) - Grain futures were mixed Friday in early trading on the Chicago Board of Trade.
Wheat for May delivery was 1.50 cents lower at $4.7160 a bushel; May corn was .50 cent lower at $3.5060 bushel; May oats was 2.50 cents higher at $1.88 a bushel; while May soybeans gained 4.25 cents to $9.15 a bushel.
Beef mostly lower and pork prices were lower on the Chicago Mercantile Exchange.
April live cattle was .05 cent higher at $1.3298 a pound; April feeder cattle was .45 cent lower at $1.5663 a pound; April lean hogs lost .18 cent to $.6818 a pound.
