Round Lake trick-or-treating hours set

The village of Round Lake has set trick-or-treat hours from 1 to 5 p.m. Sunday, Oct. 28.

Residents are urged to be sure an adult or a responsible teenager accompanies children, know which friends will accompany their children, trick-or-treat in their own neighborhood and only go to houses where it appears people are home.

In addition, parents should know the exact route children are taking, inform children to never enter a stranger's house, even if invited, and be sure costumes fit properly to prevent tripping and falling.
