Exchange Club of Naperville to host its first Car Scavenger Hunt Aug. 22
On Saturday, Aug. 22, the Exchange Club of Naperville will host its first Car Scavenger Hunt from 1:30 to 4 p.m. at Up North Ale House, 1595 N. Aurora Road, Naperville.
This family event is just like a scavenger hunt, but in your own car!
Explore the Naperville area with your family and earn points by taking selfies from your car or collecting tokens at a few of the stops along the way. The boundaries are Ogden Avenue on the north, 95th Street on the south, Route 59 on the west, and Wehrli Drive on the east.
Participants will start and finish at the Up North Ale House at 1:30 p.m. They will offer a review the rules and pass out the scavenger hunt clues. They will have 20-25 clues for you and your team to solve. When the event is over, join the awards ceremony and an early dinner at the restaurant (dinner is not included).
Cost is $25 per car prior to Wednesday, Aug. 19. After Aug. 19, tickets can be purchased the day of the scavenger hunt for $30 per car.
Prizes will be awarded for: first place, Best Decorated Car, and the organization/group with the most attendees.
For information on registration, visit exchangeclub.org.
This event will be a fundraiser for the Naperville Exchange Club's prevention of child abuse programs.
