Elmhurst Symphony features 'Baroque Masters' at Mayslake

Warm up a frosty January afternoon in a beautiful setting when the Elmhurst Symphony Musicians in Performance at Mayslake series continues its 2018-19 season with a concert of Baroque favorites.

Under the baton of Stephen Alltop, music director and conductor, the concert begins at 2:30 p.m. Saturday, Jan. 12, at Mayslake Peabody Estate, 1717 W. 31st St. in Oak Brook.

"Trumpet Glory: German Baroque Masters" will feature soloists from the Elmhurst Symphony Orchestra performing music by Handel, Bach and Telemann.

A meet-and-greet with Alltop and the musicians will follow the concert and light refreshments will be served in the library.

The reservation deadline for the free reception is Jan 8.

Tickets for the concert are $30 for adults and $12 for students.
