Get creative juices flowing at Deer Park Art Show

Amdur Productions announces the Deer Park Art Show, an outdoor fall art event taking place from 10 a.m. to 5 p.m. Saturday and Sunday, Sept. 9 and 10, at Deer Park Town Center, 20530 N. Rand Road, Deer Park.

Now in its second year, this juried fine art and craft show will feature dozens of artists offering jewelry, paintings, sculptures, photography, woodwork and more.

In addition to the artwork, festivalgoers will enjoy live performances from a variety of musical acts on the music stage, food from local restaurants and art activities for children, including an art scavenger hunt, spin art, drawing on a graffiti wall, and more. Admission to the event is free.

PADS Lake County is the charity chosen for the Deer Park Art Festival's Green Ribbon Project. Participating artists will be placing a green ribbon on a piece of art in their booth. If the piece is sold during the fest, the artist will donate 10 percent of the proceeds to PADS Lake County.
