Libertyville Girl Scouts create mural to earn Bronze Award

The members of Girl Scout Troop 45704 have collaborated on a project to enhance their community. A Girl Scout Bronze Award Project is an opportunity for Girl Scouts to explore their community and look for ways to make positive change.

Troop 45704 has chosen to focus on community beautification by creating a mural to inspire kindness, persistence and individuality. The troop received approval for the mural from the village of Libertyville Appearance Review Commission.

The proposal then advanced to the village board of trustees for approval.

The mural is on display at the Adler Memorial Park Playground in Libertyville.

Members of the troop earned the Girl Scout Bronze Award, the highest honor a Girl Scout Junior can earn.
