Man sentenced for soliciting sex with a child
A Romeoville man convicted last year of trying to have sex with a minor will spend six years in prison.
Anthone J. Caradine, 27, was convicted in October of four felonies. Kane County Judge Linda Abrahamson sentenced him on Tuesday.
On March 27, 2015, Caradine drove to an Aurora hotel to pay $150 to the mother of a young girl so he could have sex with that girl. The "mother," though, was actually part of an operation from Homeland Security Investigations and the Aurora Police Department.
