Pedestrian killed in N. Chicago was Waukegan man, coroner says

The Lake County coroner's office on Tuesday identified the pedestrian who was struck and killed by a car in North Chicago Friday as a 37-year-old Waukegan man.

Brian Wilson was hit near the 1000 block of Jackson Street in North Chicago at 10:56 p.m. Friday. He was pronounced dead at Advocate Condell Medical Center in Libertyville.

An autopsy indicated he died of blunt force injuries, the coroner's office said.
