Blame one-year governor but not state's Democrats?

Which political party has a super majority in both the Illinois House and Senate? How many years has one party controlled the power in Illinois? How long has it really taken to get Illinois in the financial hole we are in? Did it really take only one year and a Republican governor to put us in this hole? I think the Democrats in Springfield are too afraid to take the blame for more damage to Illinois. They have the power and the votes to do what they do best, bankrupt Illinois. Does one party have the guts to do what is best for the taxpayers of Illinois? The past shows they don't. Easier to blame the one-year Republican governor. Progress!
