Grains lower, livestock mixed.
CHICAGO (AP) - Grain futures were lower on Friday in early trading on the Chicago Board of Trade. Wheat for Sep. declined 10.50 cents at $6.75 a bushel; Sep. corn was off 1.25 cents at $4.96 a bushel; Sep. oats fell 5.50 cents at $4.8750 a bushel; while Sep. soybeans lost 8 cents at $12.5925 a bushel.
Beef was mixed and pork was lower on the Chicago Mercantile Exchange.
Oct. live cattle was up .20 cents at $1.2407 a pound; Sep. feeder cattle fell 2.03 cents at $1.5477 a pound; Oct. lean hogs lost 3.15 cents at $.8440 a pound.
