District 54 offering parent workshop on positive discipline Nov. 14

The District 54 Parent Educators will host a Positive Discipline workshop from 4:40 to 6 p.m. Wednesday, Nov. 14, at the Community Resource Center in the Hoffman Estates Police Department, 411 W. Higgins Road.

The free workshop is for parents of children newborn through five years old. The program will discuss setting limits, encouraging desired behaviors, and offering praise and support. Learning about positive discipline can encourage children to grow and learn in a safe, loving environment, organizers say.
