Grain higher, livestock mixed
CHICAGO (AP) - Grain futures were higher Tuesday in early trading on the Chicago Board of Trade.
Wheat for May delivery was 1 cent higher at $4.6740 a bushel; May corn was 1.50 cents higher at $3.710 bushel; May oats was .25 cent higher at $1.91 a bushel; while May soybeans gained 6 cents at $9.08 a bushel.
Beef lower and pork was higher on the Chicago Mercantile Exchange.
April live cattle was 1.55 cents lower at $1.3680 a pound; March feeder cattle was .18 cent lower at $1.6220 a pound; April lean hogs gained .05 cent at $.6940 a pound.
