District 62 takes to Twitter Wednesday

Des Plaines Elementary School District 62 teachers and principals are participating in a Twitter competition Wednesday as part of Digital Learning Day. The school with the highest ratio of tweets compared to staff members wins a Google Cardboard kit, a virtual reality device that can be used with smartphones. District officials are encouraging their educators to use the social media platform to connect with colleagues, gather new ideas, and learn more about their profession. Teachers and principals will be tweeting with the hashtag #62Learns.
