St. Theresa School Celebrates Grandparents Day with an Open House

St. Theresa School, 445 N. Benton Street, Palatine recently celebrated Grandparents Day with a Mass and open house. More than 200 grandparents attended Mass and sat with their grandchildren. Special petitions were made for those grandparents present and those who had died. Many of the students paid special tribute to their deceased grandparents by proudly displaying their picture on a lanyard. The students were especially proud to tour their guests throughout the newly renovated school campus. After the celebratory Mass, students, teachers, parents and grandparents gathered for refreshments. Each grandparent received a gift as a token of gratitude. The St. Theresa School Parents Association hosted the event.
