Jacobs, Hampshire notch baseball wins
Jacobs 7, Schaumburg 1: Stevie Krueger went 4-for-5 with a double and an RBI and three Jacobs pitches combined on a 3-hitter to lead the Golden Eagles to a nonconference win. Mike Addante (2 hits, 2B, RBI), Daniel Solomon (2 hits, RBI), Cameron Wilson (RBI), Casey Dennison (2B, 2 RBI) and Tim Randl (2 hits, RBI) also contributed to the offense. Brad Demkovich was credited with the pitching win in relief of Evan Libeau. Dennison pitched the final 2 innings and recorded 5 strikeouts.
