Bartlett clinches UEC title

Bartlett defeated Elgin 62-38 Wednesday to win its second straight Upstate Eight Conference championship.

Lexie Sinclair led the Hawks (25-4, 16-1) with 15 points. Mackenzie Hare added 14 points, Teagan Noesen scored 11 and Hannah Walker 5.

Dajha Cooper and Sarah Moskow both had 12 points for Elgin (6-24, 2-15). Kianna Harvey had 6 points.

Newark 65, Westminster Christian 24: The Warriors' season came to an end at the Class 1A Christian Liberty regional semifinal despite a big game from Keely Frens who had 17 points, 5 rebounds and 7 steals.

Aurora Christian 75, Mooseheart 19: Thaya Luse had 22 points and 14 rebounds for the Eagles (20-7) as they advanced to Thursday's Class 1A regional championship game at Serena.
