MCC Shah Center offers online workforce solution programs

MCHENRY - McHenry County College's Workforce, Community and Business Programs has partnered with the Learning Resources Network, the world's largest association in continuing education and lifelong learning to offer a variety of online course topics in July and August.

A Creative Problem Solving class is offered online from July 3 through 28 and the average time for course completion is 16 hours. With successful completion of this course, participants will learn problem solving techniques relevant for any organization or group context that can easily be adapted to work at an individual level. Course fee is $195. Register using course code: NTL S65 001.

The Basics of Bookkeeping course, offered online from July 3 through 28, teaches how the day-to-day financial transactions of a business, bookkeeping terminology as well as what it means to keep track of the financials. This course is takes approximately 16 hours to complete. Course fee is $195. Use course code: NTE S76 001 when registering.

Change in the Workplace will teach participants strategies on how to deal with changes in the work environment and how to introduce changes to their workplace culture. This online course is also accessible from July 3 through July 28. Course fee is $195. Use course code: NTL S14 001 when registering.

Lean Six Sigma and Social Media for Business Certificate Series will also be available online in August.
