Freedom Home Care expanding

Freedom Home Care is opening its newest location in Lake Forest at 289 E. Deerpath Road.

The sixth location in the area, the center is a prototype for its future locations.

A grand opening will take place from 5 to 7 p.m. Sept. 27.

From beginning in Highland Park, Freedom Home Care has grown over the past 20 years and has operations in Hinsdale, Buffalo Grove, Grayslake, Oak Brook and Chicago.

"We saw a great opportunity to open in Lake Forest and service the new Northwestern Lake Forest Hospital and Lake Forest Senior Center community," said Sharon Burack, who founded Freedom Home Care over 20 years ago after 38 years in the rehabilitation industry working with seniors in occupational, physical and speech therapy, as well as nutritional and mental well-being.

"Our new location will offer even more peace of mind to the 40, 50 and 60-year generations who are taking care of their 70, 80 and 90-year old family members," Burack said.
