Letter: Kaepernick is right for Bears

The Bears should sign Colin Kaepernick as a quarterback.

He deserves forgiveness and a second chance.

The last mischief maker at Bears quarterback was Jim McMahon, and my guess is that Virginia and Sons liked him pretty well. The recent parade of good boys hasn't worked out too well. Kaepernick is probably learning that his old job paid better than working out. I'm betting that the Bears could get him for one year for a very reasonable salary.
