District 214 school board incumbents announce establishment slate
Three longtime Northwest Suburban High School District 214 school board members have announced they are running as a slate in the April 2 local election.
Bill Dussling, a 20-year board member from Arlington Heights; Alva Kreutzer, a 19-year board member from Elk Grove Village; and Dan Petro, an 8-year board member from Arlington Heights, said they are running to maintain the district's educational excellence and fiscal control.
The Supporters of District 214 establishment slate has been undefeated in local elections since forming in 2007.
Dussling and Kreutzer, who have both previously served as the board's president and vice president, and Petro, currently the board vice president, also said they want to continue with the district's Redefining Ready! program, a college and career readiness initiative.
