Parker out for Sky's second game of season
New member of the Chicago Sky - and basketball legend - Candace Parker will miss Wednesday night's game in Atlanta with an ankle injury.
The team announced the injury about a half hour before tipoff at Gateway Center Arena. Azura Stevens (foot) and Allie Quigley (hamstring) will also miss the second game of the Sky's WNBA season.
Parker, who won two state titles with Naperville Central High School before becoming a champion again in college and the WNBA, scored 16 points in Saturday's season-opening victory over the Washington Mystics.
