Lake Zurich High School to partner with Smalley Steel Ring

Lake Zurich High School will offer a new Manufacturing and Technology Program to seniors next year. The program is being done in partnership with local manufacturer Smalley Steel Ring, the village of Lake Zurich, and The Technology Manufacturing Association. An open house at Smalley Steel Ring, 555 Oakwood Road, Lake Zurich, is set for 11 a.m. to 1 p.m. Saturday, Jan. 27. Students enrolled in the new program will receive NIMS certification and participate in a paid internship during their senior year. This provides students with skills training, a certification, hands-on experience, and the pathway for potential employment upon graduation.
