Vacancy on District 79 board

The Fremont Elementary District 79 board is seeking applicants to fill a vacancy on the panel. Board member Michele Kreis resigned Monday because she's moving out of the Mundelein-area district. The board will appoint someone to finish Kreis' term, which ends in April. Application packets are available at the District 79 office, 28855 N. Fremont Center Road. To be eligible, applicants must be U.S. citizens, at least 18 years old, registered voters and a resident of the district for at least one year.
