Club Champion appoints CEO, CSO to corporate team
WILLOWBROOK - Club Champion, a custom golf club fitter, announced the addition of a new chief executive officer and chief stores officer.
Adam Levy has taken over for Club Champion's former CEO, Joe Lee. Lee acted as the company's leader for 11 years. He will move to chairman of the board and continue to be actively involved in the brand's operations.
Levy's retail growth expertise from companies like Tumi, Tommy Hilfiger and Refac Optical Group positions him perfectly to expand Club Champion's footprint nationally and beyond, the company said.
"This is an exciting time to really dive into Club Champion's success," said Levy. "I'm ready to help the brand move toward international expansion and a broader customer reach. The opportunities are endless for a company full of passionate employees and bolstered by even more passionate customers."
Another acquisition for Club Champion is its newly appointed chief stores officer, Rob Baumaister. Baumaister's experience in operational leadership from companies like Floor & Decor will help amplify Club Champion's existing field management structure and offer the brand a wider opportunity for regional and local advancement.
In addition, Scott Pastor has been hired as a general manager to focus on the West Coast. He joins three existing regional GMs and will more evenly distribute the field responsibilities, giving each store more access to leadership and support.
Club Champion has grown from a regional Chicago-area business to a national chain with more than 80 locations and an aggressive growth strategy for 2021-2022. Each store houses over 50,000 hittable head and shaft combinations made up of more than 50 brands, alongside the best technology and talented staffs.
