We've already contributed enough to Washington

I am being inundated with requests for money from politicians on a daily basis to send them to the House of Representatives, the Senate or the presidency. What is the matter with these people? Don't they realize that the 300 million of us in America have already contributed $19 trillion in the form of debt to Washington?

For every man, woman and child, that is over $60,000 each we have contributed. For a family of four, that is $240,000, or more than the cost of their home.

And they want us to give them money to do more of that. Contribute to them to put us further in debt? I don't think so.

I reply to them with that message in their little postage paid envelopes. Thanks to the Roberts Supreme court in the Citizens United decision, Washington no longer represents the individual American. Washington politics has turned into an expensive, sad and very sick joke.
