Why 'We the People' is more than a slogan

Now is the time for "We the People" to take back our government. We need to hold our elected officials accountable for their actions or non-actions.

"We the People" must demand that they do their jobs, that they work together to pass bills that make sense, that they stop the out of control spending of money that "We the People" just don't have anymore.

"We the People" must call for an accounting of all benefits, perks, and incentives our government officials are receiving on a yearly basis.

There should never be a lifetime appointment, or a paycheck and health insurance for anyone who no longer holds a position. If we get fired we don't get to keep those.

"We the People" must start paying attention to what is going on in our government. We cannot continue to let our officials have free rein. Too many of us refuse to get involved even when the decisions directly affect each and every one of us.

"We the People"

Powerful words … When WE pay attention.
