Barrington Station School's softball team heads to state tournament

On Friday, Sept. 22, the softball team at Barrington Station Middle School will head to the Illinois Elementary School Association state tournament in Normal, Ill.

The girls head into the state tournament with a 15-0 record!

This is the first time in the school's history the team is headed to the state tournament, after winning their regional and sectional championships.

Nearly 300 schools from across Illinois participate in IESA softball and BMS-Station is now one of only eight schools remaining in the "AA" division.

The first round game is on Friday, Sept. 22 at Maxwell Park in Normal. The game starts at 2:30 p.m.
