Baxter & Woodman's Harman receives honor

Baxter & Woodman announced Harry Harman, PE has been awarded the Illinois Section of the American Water Works Association 2019 E.D.U.C.A.T.E. Award.

The award is presented annually to a professional in the water industry who has shown excellence in teaching, mentoring, or developing educational programs for the industry. The individual must also motivate others to seek advancement in their careers while broadening their knowledge, involvement and leadership in the water industry.

Harman joined Baxter & Woodman in 1983 and currently serves as the Electrical Department Manager.

“Harry is well deserving of this award,” said Lou Haussmann, PE, Executive Vice President and Chief Operating Officer of Crystal Lake-based Baxter & Woodman. “He has demonstrated outstanding service by sharing his 40+ years of water industry experience with others in the industry. Harry regularly mentors young water professionals and presents on technical topics at conferences and other industry events.”
