Day of Play scheduled on Saturday
The Vernon Hills Park District is hosting the Worldwide Day of Play, a free, family event from 11 a.m. to 1 p.m. Saturday, Sept. 17, at Century Park North, 1400 Indianwood Drive, Vernon Hills. Structured and unstructured activities will be available for all ages, including a baggo tournament, moonwalk, sand volleyball, basketball contests, sack races, egg toss, hula hoop contests and more. Registration is not needed. In the event of bad weather, the event will be canceled. Visit www.vhparkdistrict.org.
