College of Lake County to host minority contractor meeting

The College of Lake County will host a meeting of the U.S. Minority Contractor Association from 9 a.m. to noon, Thursday, Feb. 18, in Room C005 in the C Wing auditorium at the flagship Grayslake campus, 19351 W. Washington St. The meeting is open to the public and will be attended by CLC officials and local government representatives, as well as association members and other Lake County businesses. The meeting is a result of the college's interest in increasing the usage of Lake County Disadvantaged Business Enterprises, including local and veteran-owned companies, officials said.
