Poll was suited to network's audience

Byron York writes about the Fox News poll where 44% of those polled said "their message to the government was 'lend me a hand' and it seems that number is falling," since earlier Fox polls show a 57% in favor of a "lend a hand." The Democrats, Mr. York indicates, should be aware that they may be in trouble for 2024.

That poll was from Fox, for Fox News watchers. The general population did not have a thing to do with the Fox poll. Perhaps, if they did, those "lend me a hand" numbers would have been stronger.

Talk about using a small amount of data to support an argument that can't be supported.

Mr. York needs to look at larger national polls, then perhaps he would realize that his argument has no merit. Indeed, people may want and need government to "lend a hand" during these unusual times.
