Environmental town hall:

A town hall on environmental issues hosted by Sierra Club Illinois will be held from noon to 2 p.m. Saturday, May 4, at the Prairie Crossing Charter School gym, 1531 Jones Point Road, Grayslake. State Rep. Sam Yingling, of Grayslake, will speak at the event. It will feature presentations and brainstorming sessions, and attendees will hear updates and can provide input on transportation solutions and clean energy initiatives. Speakers include state Rep. Sam Yingling, Lake County Board Chair Sandy Hart and Lake County Board member John Wasik.
