All lanes of inbound I-90 reopened following six-vehicle crash

All inbound lanes of Interstate 90 near Interstate 294 have been reopened following a six-vehicle crash that sent one person to an area hospital with injuries that are not life-threatening Tuesday morning.

The crash happened about 6:59 a.m. in a construction zone, according to Illinois State Police. Lane closures caused backups through the morning commute.

No additional injuries were reported.
