Letter: Let court do its job
Joan Davis wrote a letter incorrectly accusing the Supreme Court justices of being radical, far right, disrespecting women, relying on their religious viewpoints or political agendas. She apparently has no knowledge of how the court operates. She has determined that if a majority of people want something, then it should be law.
That's not the goal of the court. The court's main reason for existence is to determine whether or not a law is constitutional, personal feelings aside. To pass law on majority emotions, would lead to another civil war with differing viewpoints on either side believing they are right. Let the justices do their jobs.
