Voting in Israel
Donald Kuntz is incorrect in his statement that Palestinians don't vote in Israel. Let's set the record straight. Arab citizens of Israel, or Arab Israelis, are Israeli citizens who are Arab. Arab citizens entitled to vote for the Israeli Knesset. Arab Knesset members have served in office since the First Knesset.
The vast majority of the Israeli Arabs - roughly 83 percent - are Muslims. Arabs in Israel have equal voting rights; in fact, it is one of the few places in the Middle East … where Arab women may vote. Arabs currently hold 10 seats in the Knesset. Israeli Arabs have also held various government posts
Jewish Israeli citizens do not vote in Gaza or the West Bank in Arab elections.
