Putting CLC first

Schools today are having so many difficulties, from finances to staffing. I am so happy and proud to support Julie Shroka for candidate to the College of Lake County Board of Trustees. Julie is a retired college administrator serving 30 years at CLC, where she has always put students first. Julie also served as an ex-officio member to the CLC Board. Also in her role as alumni relations director, Julie worked with the Alumni Association board to provide services and build affinity with CLC alums. Julie has fantastic leadership skills and during her time at CLC has been instrumental with fundraising, helping to raise over $2 million for student scholarships. She has done this because she has an enormous heart and cares for the students. We need Julie and most importantly, CLC and its students need her.
