Aurora's Flowing Forth to hold drive-in worship May 30

Weather permitting, Flowing Forth United Methodist Church in Aurora will hold drive-in worship at 10 a.m. Sunday, May 30.

The Rev. Derek Rogers invites the public to Aurora Christian Schools parking lot, 2255 Sullivan Road in Aurora.

Rev. Rogers said, "We'll join together in the parking lot to listen to the music, prayers, and sermon. Bring lawn chairs and sit outside of your car."

Continuing his eight-part "Faith on the Outside" sermon series, Rev. Rogers will preach on "Love." In case of inclement weather, the service will be held in school's theater room

No bulletins or handouts will be provided. On Sunday morning, an email will be sent with worship information. Congregants are asked to have music lyrics on their phones or print them in advance.

Prayer requests can be submitted in advance through the church website or during the service by texting Pastor Rogers.

Communion will be celebrated with prepackaged elements available at the service.

Offerings to the church will be collected as congregants exit the parking lot. The service will also be livestreamed online.
