Waukegan 'road rage' shooting victim identified as Beach Park man

The Lake County coroner's office has identified the 38-year-old man who was killed late Friday night in a Waukegan "road rage" shooting.

The preliminary autopsy revealed Dwayne Young, a Beach Park resident, died from gunshot wound sustained during the shooting near 8th Street and Jackson Street, according to a news release issued Tuesday.

Sheldon Brown, 33, of Chicago, has been charged with first-degree murder and is being held in Lake County jail on $3 million bail. He is set to appear in court Wednesday.

Authorities said Brown shot Young in a fit of rage after he accidentally rear-ended Brown's vehicle.
