Get your pet vaccinated at the Wheeling Police drive-through clinic

The Wheeling Police Department will be hosting a free drive-through pet vaccination event from 11 a.m. to 3 p.m. Saturday, July 10, at the police department, 1 Community Blvd., Wheeling. Ticket distribution will start at 10:30 a.m.

Follow state of Illinois protocol regarding the use of masks and social distancing. If your health is compromised, let a friend or family member bring your pet.

The event offers free pet vaccinations and microchips. Bring water and snacks and be prepared to for long wait times. All dogs must be on a leash or in a carrier or vehicle. All cats must be in a carrier or vehicle. Bring waste bags to pick up after your pet.

Five hundred animals will be served, or until supplies run out.

The event is sponsored by the Wheeling Police Department, Heartland Animal Shelter, the Chicago Wolves, and Total Body Fuel.
