Drug arrest at Rivers Casino

A Hampshire man was arrested early Monday after he dropped a small bag of cocaine inside Rivers Casino in Des Plaines, police said.

Darren Leech, 37, of the 19N200 block of Green Meadows Lane, was charged with possession of a controlled substance.

Security workers found the bag. While subsequently reviewing surveillance video, they discovered it had fallen out of Leech's sweatshirt after he had been asked to show his ID at an entrance, according to a news release.

Leech was located in the casino and arrested.
