Aspen Drive Library in Vernon Hills to close two days next week
The Aspen Drive Library in Vernon Hills will be closed Tuesday and Wednesday due to an ongoing construction project, officials announced.
The $6.8 million expansion will nearly double the size of the library, 701 Aspen Drive. It will include new study rooms, a large conference room and an enclosed quiet room featuring a fireplace and couches are among the planned amenities.
Work began in February and should conclude this fall.
