Grain higher, livestock lower

CHICAGO (AP) - Grain futures were higher Friday in early trading on the Chicago Board of Trade.

Wheat for Sept. delivery was 4.50 cents higher at $3.7260 a bushel; Sept. corn was 4 cents higher at $3.15 bushel; December oats was .50 cent lower at $1.8020 a bushel; while Sept. soybeans gained 10.50 cents to $9.6960 a bushel.

Beef lower pork prices were lower on the Chicago Mercantile Exchange.

October live cattle was 1.30 cents lower at $1.0228 a pound; September feeder cattle was .08 cent lower at $1.3723 pound; October lean hogs lost .48 cent to to $.6285 a pound.
