Elect a state senator you can trust

We are writing today in support of former St. Charles Mayor Don DeWitte in his race for the Illinois 33rd Senate District.

As community volunteers and as a local elected official for 16 years, we have a deep appreciation for those who dedicate their time to serving the public and making the lives of their constituents better. As state Senator, Don will represent the residents of the district with dedication and passion, as he has served the residents of St. Charles and Kane County.

Don grew up in a family dedicated to public service. He served 12 years as alderman before running for mayor in 2005, serving for two terms before stepping down in 2013. For the last five years, he has continued to serve the public on the Regional Transportation Authority representing Kane County.

Don cares deeply about our community and wants to provide a better life for people across the 33rd District. As a business owner, Don helped to bring jobs and income to his local community. As mayor, he fostered smart economic development and new business to St. Charles, as well as millions of dollars in improvements to local roads, bridges and infrastructure. Don will fight to keep taxes low, bring integrity to state government and be a voice for communities across the 33rd District.

Politicians in Springfield continue to rack up more debt, raise our taxes even higher and hurt our local communities by taking our local sales tax revenues. We need someone to fight for us in Springfield. Don is a tested public servant who you can trust. Vote for Don DeWitte to send a proven leader to Springfield.
